Employee Assistance Program
UTS offers an employee assistance program which includes a confidential counselling service for staff. Access to the counselling service is arranged via Staff Services within UTS: Human Resources.

Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing
A broad range of advice on elder care is available from the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing (opens an external site), including the ability to search for an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) by location (opens an external site). The ACATs assist older people and their carers to determine the most appropriate level of care that will best meet their needs, when they are no longer able to manage at home without assistance.
NSW Government - Ageing, Disability & Home Care
Ageing, Disability & Home Care sits within the portfolio of the NSW Government's Family & Community Services, and offers a range of services (opens an external site) to older people, as well as people with a disability and their families and carers in NSW.
Aged and Community Services Australia Incorporated
Aged and Community Services Australia Incorporated (opens an external site) is a national peak body representing over 1,100 church, charitable and community-based organisations, providing accommodation and care services to over 450,000 older Australians, people with a disability and their carers.
Carers NSW
Carers NSW (opens an external site) is an association for relatives and friends caring for people with a disability, mental illness, drug or alcohol dependency, chronic condition, terminal illness or who are frail.
