The Vice-Chancellor health and safety responsibilities

In addition to the health and safety responsibilities that everyone at UTS have, and
their health and safety responsibilities as a manager,
the Vice-Chancellor is responsible:

  • to Council for the overall implementation of the health and safety policy
    this includes the allocation of resources for effective implementation and ensuring managers, staff and students are aware of their responsibilities through appropriate delegation, and

  • for monitoring health and safety performance and authorising appropriate corrective action to ensure compliance with the health and safety policies.
