Classifying mixtures using Chemwatch

Often you will need to work out classification of a mixture of substances that you have created yourself. This function allows you to do that so that you can make the correct label and use the appropriate classification for your risk assessment.

1. Click the green button at the top right-hand corner of the search screen.
2. Write in the substance name and click the magnifying (search) icon. Select the substance you wish to add to the mixture.
3. Write in the % of the substance in the mixture.
4. Click the "CALCULATE" icon to give a list of the 'risk phrases' for the mixture.
5. Click the "REPORT" icon to give the 'risk phrases' and 'safety phrases' for the mixture.
