Health and safety at UTS

UTS is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for everyone at UTS.

While at UTS, as either a contractor or a visitor you should be aware that you too have health and safety responsibilities.

You should know what to do:

You should be familiar with the UTS evacuation procedures. UTS: Facilities management provide details of the evacuation procedures, and the Escape from UTS video which shows how to evacuate UTS.

  • When an accident or incident happens

If someone is injured, ensure that they receive first aid and/or medical treatment.

Contractors or visitors who injure themselves or damages their property while on UTS premises may be entitled to make a claim for UTS public liability insurances.
